CARE-C’s Dr Maximilien Desservettaz visit to the French- Cypriot school

Dr Maximilien Desservettaz, postdoctoral research fellow at CARE-C of the Cyprus Institute, visited the French-Cypriot school on 18 December, 2023 to present atmospheric chemistry and related topics to students aged 15-17.

Dr Desservettaz was invited to deliver a session about his career and his work at the Centre. During his talk he had the opportunity to talk about his career so far, his studies in 4 countries across 3 continents, and a number of field campaigns and conferences he took part in different countries.

He also presented a number of case studies on various topics, such as geo-politics and science, logistics in field campaigns and cultural aspects in air pollution.
